Victory

I can be like Alice, and live in a self-induced palace. My only goal, life's total, everything else I'd have to try; try and beat myself, to go up against the imagined immeasurable wealth of accumulated drugs, relationships..a scrap pile seemingly worth the while. How could I overcome and change it all, pick up from the fall and aim my sights on success? To become something, someone, learn a new type of fun, aspire to the inner fire; here I am, this is me now; but how? In school, rich in family, with a steady mate beside me and God guiding; the key. The devil is in the bottle and pills, but I've found myself here; victory has positively killed.
