Victory

Victory is shy, Not always there, But what everyone hopes for; Lives for Is the glimmer of chance. Something ungraspable, Un-seeable Who’s to know it, Even exist? The ones who pronounce In having it, flaunting it: Are usually yet the ones that don’t truly believe In its meaning For something So hard to get, Its frangibility is relent lance. What everyone wants Is a sign in having it but, What they don’t know Is the effort for striving, For such perfection And wanting to achieve it, Not to flaunt it but to embrace it; Is the hardest victory to achieve in life; And the ones who have it: Walk clueless upon life, Worshipping the people who flaunt it, But yet themselves Don’t have, Nor know, The true meaning; Of victory.
