Why would I have a fire burn,

when it could create the forest?

Why would I have a wave erode the beach?

Why would I have a storm fell branches and drench,

when the soft rain could becon calm?

Why would I have knowledge of all things good and bad eclipse the blissfull ignorance of youth?

How whimsical would it be to turn our time

in an illogical 180,

where what we saw was the growing future

and not the shrinking past.
