Vigilant Beauty

A curse was placed, the girl was hid,

Fated to touch the wheel.

Her parents loved her, of course they did,

Hoped to remove from her fate a seal.

The fairies warned, the girl obeyed,

Lived a life safe and sound.

She grew up strong, and smart, and brave,

Learned of the danger around.

So one day, refusing her fear,

The girl faced her fate head-on.

As the princess whom all held dear

Proved the fates to be wrong.

That cursed wheel she did destroy,

And without a curse still got the boy.
