Villanelle de Vida

What’s so good about never being wrong?

It’s not like people want to hear what you have to say

When you’re always right, all day long.

It’s a lonely road to travel, but one must stay strong.

You don’t have to listen to when people say

“What’s so good about never being wrong?

On this path you might get lucky and have some friends tag along

but don’t make the mistake of expecting them to stay

When you’re always right, all day long.

Don’t get me wrong, you might find the love for which you long

And if you do, they’ll have a puzzled look when you try to convey

What’s so good about never being wrong.

In fact it’s not all bad, so rejoice and sing a song

You will never have to worry about being led astray

When you’re always right, all day long

Just be aware of where you belong

And maybe one day you’ll be able to say

What’s so good about never being wrong,
When you're always right, all day long.
