Villanelle1

Sterility persecutes They’ve all gone way There are no absolutes I sit broken and loose I’ve lost my old ways Sterility persecutes And I wish for the truth But I can’t stand to change There are no absolutes The visions uncouth Break part through my day Sterility persecutes They’ve left and I lose Will nobody stay? There are no absolutes Once they’ve spoiled the view They leave me to play Sterility persecutes There are no absolutes
