Virtuous Victory

Life's too short to let anything keep you from happiness Emotions are temporary so we can't put so much value on worldly aspects I'd much rather have joy in my suffering than hold on to sadness I have hope during pre-seasons because I know that Everything happens for a reason & there's something about new beginnings that keeps me in good standing I smile even when I've cracked because I know that It could be worse; I could've been broken. But, what do you know? I'm still working. And my love will never go unspoken My heart just keeps unfolding There's a river inside of me that keeps on flowing Only God knows where I'm going In the meantime, I'll continue growing. There's gonna be some hills to climb and bonds to break But, nothing and no one is perfect; It's okay to make mistakes. Just press forward and run your own race. Look the devil in the face and tell him "Get away from me; Get behind me; I'm going to reach my destiny!"
