VISION

My eyes are heavy

out here its dark, cold, and windy

here in the city

on the streets where there is no pity

makes you nearly lose your sanity

but there goes clarity

obstacles making it hard to see

what's right in front of me

I'm reaching for the epitome

while praying for an epiphany

Looks like I ain't getting any

but trust me, I'm getting plenty

Plenty of opportunities

Opportunities so glittery

Sparkling like infinite

I've got an affinity

for girls with big titties

But now I feel shitty

Oh well, giggity giggity!

But seriously...

I'm living dangerously

Writing poetry

that's sometimes inflammatory

That means people respond furiously

upset, frustrated, and act out angrily

Towards my rhymes that speak out politically

And also I speak religiously

about people and their hypocrisy

It's a shame they stress modesty

but fall short of solemnity

Then there is serenity

which should make girls practice chastity

but literally

when I speak it makes them drop their panties

I love religious girls, but some dress scantily

Whoops! Sorry ladies, there goes eternity!

I guess your dream of being heavenly

was just interrupted by my humanity.

I'll make it up to you, alrighty?

Let's get down to the nitty gritty

The world's so big you feel itty bitty

Let me make you feel monumentally

significant to everyone, and especially

to your friends and family

They're the only ones who count at the end of the day.

It's a hard knock life – that's reality!

What goes up, must come down, that's the law of gravity

but a return to your nativity

will help you realize the sensitivity

that the law of relativity

works if you're relatively

working to make a change in society

It's about relevancy

How relevant do you want to be?

Can you answer that honestly?

Honestly, I wish you took things more seriously

More seriously than me

when I was your age. You see

if you were me, at your age, then theoretically

you'd be immeasurably wealthy

because the wisdom I have now is inevitably

the secret to your success, if you'd just trust me

and listen. I'm trying to speak prophetically

in to your life. That's why I'm writing poetically

so you will consider what I say is true. But hypothetically

you need to put in to practice the philosophy

I'm imparting in your soul, you're solely

responsible for your own success in life. Basically,

you need to live life by the basics, it's the only way

to keep your head above water in this age and day

we are living in, but hey

do what you wanna do, but there's one more thing to say

life isn't so bad, if you take time out to pray

Pray with all the faith you've got, and never go astray

from the paths you've walked – you know the lay

of every foot step that guides you through the fray

Life is hard to live, but live it lively!

It has its up and downs, but live it excitedly!

Only you can choose whether your ending ends happily

so be happy, and try not to worry

or get through life in a hurry.

Your memory will grow blurry

if you don't take time to appreciate adversity

It's adversity that will make you a great personality

And your personality will take you far, maybe internationally

But really

in reality, to those of us who love you, you'll remain lovably

you. We, your friends, are here to make life more endurably

endurable when times get tough, and you're in trouble

Life is easier in doubles

Don't be afraid to fumble

We will catch you, as you trip and stumble

Hold my hand, it's ok to bumble

I bumbled several times, but now I'm humble

There's no room for pride, you've just got to jumble

all that pride and live life with no regrets

and live like there's no tomorrow!

For my normal taste, there were parts of that where I would have thought it was a bit too imprudent and audacious but I actually really, really, really liked it. I would love to see a video of you rapping this! I say go grab a camcorder and come in and post it!

Becca.
