I saw the farthest star from here and I knew that was real

I raised my hand and reached my finger tips up, out, and past this Earth

Until I was one with the rest of the universe

Until I was bigger than the farthest star

The Earth was still there, but our world was no more

The world surrounding me crumbled and all that was left was real

The matrix deteriorated

All I knew in ruins

But I was satisfied

The light broke and the truth was beautified

This poem is about:
Me
Our world
