Visions

Look at me, can you see me? Do you notice me or do you choose not to? Look through me, I’m opaque Are you real or fake? Look into me, I’m a mirror Do you see me in you or do you choose not to? My visions say we are equal But my decisions differ in the sequel We could talk about this No need to argue or refute to prove a point We should make peace over this mess Not try to escape or debate this any longer Stop being stationery and move Stop being so to and fro Run, let these emotions flow through you Smother you, embrace you, caress you Full out sprint and never look back Never coming back down Stay on a high for all of time Reach for the stars, forever we’ll climb Ascend to Heaven, this will be our lives Deep down inside we are the same Or so they say, but is it a fact or just a claim? Do you see me in you or do you choose not to? See I could break it down to numbers and science I could plead for unity, love and, alliance But all in all and overall people are looked at differently Cast outs, cutters, drop outs, gay lovers Band geeks, psychotic freaks We are all different But we are human and we tend to lose a sense of clarity And we lose our hearts and lose humanity Apathy and sympathy cannot compete with vivid visions for I care If only love and understanding had enough provisions to spare So is this what you see when you look at me? Or do you look through me and never understand what I see?
