Visiting Flower fields

Wed, 04/25/2018 - 17:08 -- ngopes

The view from the garden includes the Pacific Ocean &

a long stretch of sandy coastline, and an array of

 of Ranunculus, Poinsettias, tulips, and

 red roses cover the hillside.

the flowers grow in long parallel lines,

creating a living rainbow of color; A narrow trail separates each other.

I stop by the trail to smell the flowers.

DO NOT TOUCH  FLOWERS warning signs are put up

all over. I can’t resist touching it.

Near the exit, I stand, hands on my hips, posing for a pic; and

I lay on side to get the full backdrop of the flower field.

The gentle breeze bends the flowers, and

carries the smell of flowers as far as the Pacific Ocean.

The Bees fly over the flower.

I hear the wind rush in from the Ocean.

The red petals fly in the wind and lie on the ground.

The open ground turns into multicolored pulp.

I sit beside the window ledge reviving dear memories of bygone days—

The brightly lit flowers, the walk in the flower field and the smell of flowers,

All moments live on only in the pictures.
