The Visitor
Fear visits when it is not welcome.
It creeps into people's minds without notice until it’s too late.
It wears them down slowly in the absence of resistance.
It's the little voice in the back of one's head arguing against courage and rationality.
It appears in daily scenes and worst-case scenarios alike, making one reckless, foggy, irresponsible.
It makes a stomach churn and induces cold sweat in uncomfortable places.
It's the sensation you experience when panic washes over your eyes and darkness envelops your conscious.
It uncannily feeds off of itself and augments beyond wild imagination!
Even when you’re on top of the world, fear in its most subtle form of doubt will tear you down,
Knock you off your pedestal.
It indiscriminately rips apart piece by piece, thought by thought, atom by atom.
Fear pulls you back when you are on the edge of a breakthrough.
It's the glass ceiling that restrains you from achieving goals, glory, greatness.
Unrivaled, it possesses the awesome potential to plague, demolish, destroy the essence of life.
Let not fear touch you,
Or it
Will
Take over.
