Visual Creativity

Washing over the black canvas,

The stars and ocean meet.

The eruption of light is fantastic,

As it saves the children of the world

From despair.

I’ve seen this light,

And watched as its beauty as the sky

Shifts to house beautiful angels

Dotting the vast navy expanse.

It fills my soul and colors my eyes,

To see the splendor in the air I breathe

And the people that I may never meet.

The world’s mysteries constantly flood my thoughts,

And I think that I will never know the half of them.

But that is the glory of life and I can only hope

That I never lose the light

From the ocean and the stars.

That is all I can do.

Hope.
