Visuals
I've been hiding under the shadows of everyone's perspectives of who I am.
Trying to find new corners where I can see my reflection and save myself from the confusion and vulnerability.
I arrive to a dead end.
I walk about avenues and see my friends and family waving at me.
Paintings of fear, love, lust, and passion are plastered along the streets.
I come across a painting that consists of no color.
It's obtains transparency in it's best form.
I trace my fingers along the fine lines of the frame.
I begin to notice the artist has no name.
This painting disturbs because I have the power to create and display whatever is inside my head onto this painting.
How so? How is it possible?
In my head, I run around those thoughts everyday.
I just look around and see what components of my life can come about to redefine me.
My structure, my thoughts, my wisdom, my humor,my goals and desires..
And hey, maybe, just maybe that's what life's about.
All I know, is that I'm just an artist in the making.
Singing and acting her way through her teenage life.
Memorizing lines and balancing pitches.
Who knows, one day I'll be able to make a painting, that can move someone so much that they actually have no physical movement at all
One day someone's fingers will run along the pattern's of my masterpiece,
They will smile in confusion and laugh in amazement.
One day.
