Vital Source

God- the one thing in my life that I must have

The person, the thing I absolutely need.

Waking me up after a long night's sleep.

Making it a goal to supply my every need-

No matter how trivial.

Breath, shelter, food, and love

All are allowed in my grasp by this powerful being.

In my life, when there is trouble

When calamity strikes or conflict arises

God is a whisper away

Willing to step right in and assist me.

There are those who say,"There is no God."

"There's coincidence, luck, and man-made accomplishments."

But God is real to me.

No one can tell me otherwise.

Everything I am, all that I have

In my heart, I know it's because of Him.

He's my everything, the source of my everything.

My vital source.

There's no life for me without Him.
