Vixen
A startled hen.
The gate banging.
A fox prowling.
Thick maroon fur purring.
A prowling vixen mews.
A calling that sends creeping shivers
Feathers ruffle, standing on end
Fresh white feces fall through the grating
Clanging of heavy excrement against metal.
Sharp squaks fill the air as feathers attempt to attain flight.
Soon silence claims the night.
Feathers drift slowly through the air
Settling all around.
A simple slinking, a brush of velvet fur.
Blood covers her lips.
Ripped to shreds, peices of a prize bird
extend all around.
A smile abounds.
She stands on two legs.
Fur melting, receding.
White skin trembles to the ground.
Blonde hair falls from the head
As the last of the red disappears.
Creating a warm blanket, the golden strands flow all around.
Crimson stains the earth.
A shallow breathing and all is sound.
