The Voice

He was The Voice and he was the song That played millions of times from regions beyond Hoboken, New Jersey he decided to become a singer Struck out "Your Hit Parade" and went through the ringer 1962 "Lets Fly Away" to Capitol Records, Hollywood L.A. Oscar Awards covered the man's hands but it wasn't his acting that made him so grand His voice and personality was like "Summer Wind," "That came blowin' in" The Voice traveled among every ear and still traveling for years and years People have loved and people have cried The Voice is the one to bring tears to there eyes Even though he is gone today you remeber how he did it "My Way" Although I've never seen him, his Voice lives with me As one of my best childhood memories
