Voice

You may want to scream,

Shout,

Cry.

Though you can't,

Not anymore.

Instead, you pick up a pen,

You write out your frustration.

Let your voice scream,

Shout,

And cry for you.

All things you can't do out loud.

Let your voice speak volumes,

Like you can't.

Let your voice be heard through poetry.

Don't let it sit inside,

You can let your voice be heard,

Let it reach out and touch others.

Poetry means an escape...

From the pain,

From the exhaustion,

From all problems, you have no control over.

It is a way to help,

And let yourself be heard.

So let your voice out!

Let it scream!

Shout!

And Cry!

Because, out loud,

You may not be able to.

But with your pen,

You always have a way to let your

Voice be heard.
