Voice.....
The pillowcase rubbed against my face
The pressure prevented me from breathing
The last thing I smelt was the floral perfume
The last thing I heard was a child’s cry
My voice was being suffocated
Years of frustration built up inside
Until I had found my voice through writing
My writing speaks loud and cannot be taken away
A story is being told and she cannot shut me up….
