The Voice that Cried No More


There once was a young boy who was always filled with joy seldom would he weep into her arms she would sweep me into her embrace and from her lovely face a Voice that said “cry no more” As a teen, the boy soon grew and the troubles that the woman had been through split like an ocean ridge that couldn't be mended with a bridge with her soul mate gone she had to be strong the Voice told herself “cry no more” Years past and life went on finally on a mid summer's dawn a tragedy occurred the woman's family was stirred from their beds in the middle of the night gave her loved ones such a fright The Voice soon cried “No More
