The Voice from Darkness is of Pain

Her song, heard inside the sore and pain'd places.
so stirs the self.

Whence before has cantus coloured so sweet a fragrance,
ever lived lively to fill these empty spaces?
It seeks such, it does, they say it was, to clear for meaning,
amongst the dwelling pit, dark and sorrowed faces.

By purpose gleans intent in darkness, thine own, tired. apparent.
Golden waves move over mine and in a pool, find bliss
A high voice, sacrificial in performance, faltering and mired. inerrant.
Imagined saviors from paradise, here are riches, here a kiss.
Could never in my crudely thought near-mockery and imitation
Ever compare to this.
