A Voice That Demands to Be Heard

I gazed at how my collection had grown All from a world I had never known I had eternally dreamed of more There were not ample ships left to explore I knew the time had come To make a contract with the witch She told me all I had to do was hum Then my tail began to twitch I washed ashore to my new land Finally, I had the feet to stand My prince and I ultimately meet Only my voice has vanished and I cannot greet We manage to surmount it all Decided to wed, no need for a ball The witch returns to steal my man Only I have a superior plan I defeat the witch and get my voice When all is done, it is time to rejoice Ever since that day I refuse to be silent My voice will be heard even if I am to be defiant.
