The Voice Inside Your Head

I am the voice inside your head.

I am anxious and stressed.

I wonder why I feel the need to be perfect.

I hear my own criticism.

I see my imperfections.

I want freedom from the impossible standards.

I am the voice inside your head.

I pretend everything is okay, while my world is falling apart.

I feel the chaos surrounding me and getting closer with every breath.

I worry, is it too much?

I cry, Someone save me!

I am the voice inside your head.

I understand that the only one who can help me, is me.

I say, trust no one, but be open for everyone.

I dream of a reality with peace, knowing it's a fantasy.

I try to disprove my own beliefs and say it's okay.

I hope to one day love myself.

I am who I am.

I am your mentor and your motivation.

I am the voice inside your head.
