My voice leaves no echo.

I can shout, holler, scream

Cry, beg, or plea,

But nothing would happen,

Nobody would come,

As if my voice has no echo,

No sound,

No meaning.

O, how I wish somebody would listen,

But it is plain that nobody would,

All I need is but an echo,

To confirm that someone might hear,

But my voice leaves no echo,

And no help will ever come.
