The Voice in Me

The Voice in Me

it comes from somewhere deep

down inside my soul

it says things that seem to seep

deep into my core

it makes my curiosity soar

my thoughts begin to roar

nevermore

the voice it speaks to me

it helps me see

the rest of the picture

it can be gruesome and kind

wisdom it beholds for me to find

it lives inside my mind

it gives me a sense of belief

it sympathizes with my grief

to my thoughts it is a thief

it tells me when i'm wrong

points me to what's right

it creeps into my thoughts

when I sleep I think it talks

the vouce it is in me

the voice - never to be free
