A Voice is Overrated

Ariel longed for a whole new world

So badly she'd pay any price.

Her gorgeous prince lay above the waves

And no mere merman would suffice.

So the poor deluded princess

Made a not very well thought out choice.

She could chase down her true love with legs, not a tail

But she'd have to surrender her voice.

Though silence may seem a setback

Fear not, it all went well.

'Cause talking is just one way to connect

The little mermaid learned ASL.
