VOICES

I hear voices in my head They echo inside as I get off my bed They say don't you do it, don't you try Cause if you try, you're gonna die Sometimes these voices tend to drain Tend to cause pain Tend to drive me insane They often show up then disappear Leaving me with a feeling of despair My mind once fixed, now broken beyond repair I wait for that one light to spark To spark and bring me out of the dark But as I continue to wait I wonder, oh I wonder while hoping one day That I'll hear those voices in my head say You can do it; if you try And that day I'll give an enthusiastic sigh As I kiss those voices in my head goodbye.
