Voices

I am spinning

Spinning in circles.

Down, down, down..

And I do not care

This is where I belong.

With these voices.

They tell me harsh things,

But they mean the most.

They tell me what I need to hear.

They don't lie to me.

They build me.

They are my pride.

My big ego.

My goals.

My feelings.

My do and don'ts.

My rights and wrongs.

My views.

My religion.

My secrets.

They hide away in my mind.

They sleep there. Eat. Breath.

They make my mind their home.

And I would be wrong to tell them to leave.

Because, they are...

Me.
