Voices

A voice is not a voice
Without reason to speak
A voice with reason
Is meant to be heard
Without it, it's a murmur
Something everyone does
I have a voice inside my soul
But somehow the murmurs are winning
You see my soul only cries
So no one listens
Amidst the cries though,
Lies reality,
Lies truth.
The voice of my soul may only cry
But it cries for those
With no voice
At all.
