Voices

Day to day, forming

Minnute to minnute, Do they like me?

Night to night, How will I win tomorrow?

The voice grow louder

"You have to get on the honor roll"

"You have to be the best"

Everyday people want me to be perect

Be The "A" Girl

Be top of the chain

The voices haught me

They scream their disaproval only for me to hear

"When are you going to shape up?!"

Years go by

Many tears stain the pellow

Many restless mournful night

Till one day.....

I break the chains and lables attached to my name

I dont let tehm choose my happiness

I wont let them take over my life

Theres one simple one

to define my own being

The one everyone should count

The voices go silent

my heart finally at rest

my mind clear

Who I am is unique

I'm uniquely ME

no voice can say other wise
