Volcano

Emotion is a Volcano

One could either adapt, or be swallowed whole

Inside the fiery inferno

Some have been fortunate

Standing at the edge looking down

Watching helplessly as friends cling to the edge

Most do not help

For they would risk falling in

A very select few will do anything to save their friend

The friend does not want help

Insists they can do it alone

While the other can only stare in horror

As their friend starts to loose their grip

Volcanoes are not all devastating,

A fire of passion and desire

Is a flame that rises in temperature until it is impossible to ignore

Love, and empathy, the only true magic there is

The only things that can save you

From the volcano
