Volleyball
Volleyball is my game
and being on top is where I am aim.
Diving on the court and hitting every ball,
Is what I want to show people, I’m not giving up at all.
Broke my foot freshman year,
but once the cast came off, I was ready to get in gear.
Sophomore year I was playing defense,
which made the other teams very tense.
Beginning of Junior year I failed,
I didn’t keep up my grades to play, so I cheered on my teammates very well.
Senior year was last,
But I have to say I had a blast.
I was able to prove my worth,
to show I was destined to do this since birth.
I gave everything I had on the court,
I hope one day this is my only resort.
I want to play this game for another four years and hopefully even more,
I will give everything I have to show this is the game I truly adore.
I will be playing with an amazing team,
we will all be living this crazy dream.
This is something to prove,
that dreams will come true.
Never give up on anything you love,
because deep down, it is something you can never get rid of.
I will keep diving and hitting every ball,
to show I have what it takes to play Volleyball.
