Voter Suppression In Georgia

Voter suppression should be treated as hate crimes

The racist legislators, who want to restrict or discourage

Minorities from voting should be treated as sleazy slimes.

On the contrary, lawmakers should entice or encourage

More people to vote, to promote the principles of democracy

America is supposed to stand for justice, liberty and equality.

Voter restriction should be illegal, archaic and unacceptable

After creating so many impediments, their next move will

Be to ban minorities from voting. We reject this Jim Crow’s bill.

Democracy will flourish when we vote these sick racists out

Their egregious laws can only fire up more minorities to rout

Them out of town. Where there’s a will, there’s a new route.

Many cowards fear of losing opportunities, power and privilege

This is a new spring in the world; this is of course a new age

Voter suppression is prejudicial, discriminatory and a sacrilege.
