voulez-vous ?
i was in a car once
legs spread out
on top of a lover.
i looked into his eyes and saw
so much more than lust.
we breathed together
what is more beautiful than this.
we breathed together i
do not have words for this i
was alone,
in a furred, gray bed
sweating underneath
the weight of my desire
trying to make up for the lack
of him
within me
reduced to nothing but
painful want.
god
i’m so empty—-
lord–
lord!
do i want you
that is all i have to say.
