Wait for the Explosion

I don’t know what to write my poem about

When all this work is burning me out.

I ponder, I project, I’m thinking to far

All my solutions are turning out way to bizarre

I rack my brains for something to come

But all I can think about are chocolate cookie crumbs.

I swear one day my head will implode

From all this thinking

It’s one heck of a load.

Then one day

It will surely come

BOOM goes my head

I was a terrible victim of this dreadful thinking tantrum.

At this point

I am all out of words

My brain has officially turned backwards

I am really worn-out

But I still don’t know what to write my poem about.
