Wait for Me

I can never win

floating by like the ocean blue

I ask you again

what else do i need to do

to get someone as great as you

because you are the best

if only you knew

this is my quest

maybe it’s too late

i’ll never have fun

It is so hard to wait

just one tiny action

so by one fraction

i get closer to rest

and away from your distraction

this is my quest

please please stay

this is my last whim

then you fly away

like nothing ever happened

i feel as though i’m trapped in

this tangled web of emotions as a test

it makes me feel ill and grim

this is my quest

we neither ever seem to be loving

what is required for this in oneself

one day that this is happening

i question to fly away myself

instead of watching my heart melt

and play it safe and hide in my nest

where does love come from in ones self

this is my quest
