Wait Until The End

They're tryna hold me down?

Maybe I'm holding myself down

I don't even see the blue sky and the clouds drift cause I'm too busy looking down

He already gave me the crown
Ordered my steps
So why do I keep retracing my steps
Going backwards, back to a path where there's nothing left

Try to do right and I go left
He gives me peace and I sink in distress
He gives loves but I fuel hate
He tells me be still and I don't wait

BUT WAIT

Why does a conqueror always feel defeated?

Why be committed just to feel cheated?

Why walk with Christ and ask the question will you ever leave us?

You're making a way for me but where will it lead us?

DAMN

I finally look up and look around

I see dead people now

They have life but don't know the price that was paid and that the blood sufficed to cover our sins that through Christ we live but in my sight their spirit has no life

A bunch of lost souls in need of help

They need our help but how can we save lost souls if we're lost in ourselves

How can we preach but haven't forgiven?

We're confessing Christ but behind closed doors we're dirty living

ONE THING

Take a look in the mirror and see your reflection

What's the image that you're reflecting?

Is your spirit being misdirected?

Take the lesson that God's addressing to correct your imperfections

Why be on the brink of disaster?

When you can be the receiver of a blessing!
