Waiting

Today I walked outside It was an average day To walk outside There were clouds and wind. Tress and rocks. Everything was average. I want to scream. Where are you? I flash back to those eyes That smile, that held the world. So. not. average. You flew through my life like military jet Silky stealth and deadly speed. And you were gone. The outrageous, the obscene, The spectacular, the great. Flew away on your tail winds. And all that's left Is an average day. With clouds and wind. So I stand outside Waiting for another glimpse.
