Waiting

Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.
Said the clock
Time is running fast
Yet, i'm still thinking 'bout our past.

Whoosh. Whoosh. Whoosh.
Said the wind with a 'hush'
Too many piled tasks waiting
Yet, too lil' time remaining.

You don't have a lifetime
To fix all your mistakes
You don't have enough time
To do all the give and takes.

You just have to forgive and move on
Move on, but never let go
For what's been punched in the heart
Could never be forced to go.
