Waiting

I'm standing in front of a mirror.

Why do I see nothing?

They say it takes time for your healing

And to quit rushing

Patience and prayers

I'm still waiting for answers.

Falling into the darkness.

Feeling trapped with no air.

You tell me to hold on a little longer.

Yeah you say you're not going anywhere.

Oh I can see it now, your love is so loud!

I know you're with me!

Pulling me close, drowning out the crowd.

It's intoxicating.

Taking in this new life

Soaking up your warm light

You've given me a reason.
