Waiting for Change

I have been blinded from the things around me from all the struggles that I couldn't see Water and boundries kept me from these Open your mouths; let the truth be free How could I not hear your cries Thunder from the stomach, the lightning strikes the lives a slight sense of hope beams from your eyes but your neighbor's door is locked, and the selfish never survive Rain beats down from the corrupt sky The wind makes it hard for a bird to fly After the storm, with a broken wing, it can't get by the flock is one less, but we don;t even realize Alone, wet, and an appearance that's strange Somehow this man till has a song to sing for hope that a coin makes the tin cup ring And he just sits there waiting for change
