A Waiting Game

How? It's so hard for me to understand How she can enchant my heart, only to talk and stand Listening, caring, understanding the feelings Over every day the thing I enjoy, the fact that she is stealing Valuable feelings that I hold back gasping For every word she gives me I can't help grasping Holding on to every statement she makes But what is so simple is only what it takes It requires no effort to be taken by her presence A magical, wonderful, undying essence For every thing she says means everything to me To see, decree that it could be meant to be But it just takes the will the power of emotion She becomes the center of my world, my simple devotion A promise that waiting and time can never stop me Because how I feel is real, the feeling have caught me I can bear through what seems will not come true But I swear, my heart is pledged to you.

I live, I look, I read, I smile, I laugh. It's funny how the simplicity of all of that can be confusing, but that's people for you.
