Waiting is not a game

Ecclesiastes 9:4 New King James Version (NKJV)

4 But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

Proverbs 1:26-27 New King James Version (NKJV)

26 I also will laugh at your calamity;
I will mock when your terror comes,
27 When your terror comes like a storm,
And your destruction comes like a whirlwind,
When distress and anguish come upon you.

Is a life dog better than a dead lion?

In the form of existing in getting by or the like

there is a group ... parasitic smooth

that preys on the art of evangelize

They call themselves the selected few

comprised of some politicians and the like

They make honest people puke

when they justify their artificial "life"

One nation we are "under God"

The One Who made us  we ignore

as our leaders let true values rot

so we get defiled to the core

We’re promised things will get "better" soon

by the very "elected" few

for them it gets better all the time

while the "promised" are without a clue

Is there hope?... While I write this log

Where there is life, is there hope?

Even when ruled by living "blogs"

while the world groans and mopes.

Politicians lie, and change their minds

to serve whosoever pays the most

as they appear concerned and kind

just to get a "lousy" vote

The only few who can fail the test

in productivity and in class.

They never have to give their "best"

or to clean up their own mess.

The news reports one train of thought

criminals committing crimes,

but to the elected few when caught

just praising them is mighty fine.

How close we are to the rotten core?

How great is our decline?

Open your eyes and ears for more

and start paying it some mind

Is it worth to save this nation

and to stop this sliding "decline"?

And how to do it, without frustration,

while justice is just "buying" time

The "elected" few make all decisions

or hand it over to the "appointed" few,

who like birds of a feather, make "incisions"

into moral values and the truth

It seems so clear, the end is near,

when corruption is moving faster.

The worldly-wise, think it is very nice

to let corruption be their master

They fully serve, what a nerve

in depravity's shining armor

What's wrong is right, even black is white,

when they fill their desire with candor

The Lord looks down with a frown

and remembers the sentence is near.

as the judgment will one day come down

and He'll "laugh" when they hide in fear.
