Waiting for the Rip

Watering eyes Turning around Searching for guidance Starring into loneliness... Words buried in wrinkles in my brain Waiting Waiting to be absorbed by the kindness of another Clogging the path of luscious thoughts Sparks of love flashing through clouds of hate The ground is my only friend Pushed through the paths of life Shoved by others Raking the sands of hope Digging deeper for something invisible Waiting Waiting Two paths diverged in a wood and I shall lie upon thy branch above thy road less traveled Watching others Wishing for the rip to close to open A silent battle of the ventricles Warring upon one another Vulnerable to other predators Attacked by another force from the path below Only to fall Waiting Now come Find me Catch me Save me Halp me Understand my wounds invisible to the naked hateful eye Only visible to a pupil coated in love And as your palms lift me to my feet Your eyes shall be dipped in sweet-smelling goodwill And glow to light the way for others Such as me But until then I shall fall...
