wake up

It is blatantly obvious that you are blind to what is causing your own destruction. And seeing how you shy away at the sheer thought of bettering yourself shows me that you are not ready for the multitude of the love I am so willing to give. I am too good for you. I am enough. And I will see the end of this. I will not shy away from the future I was promised. Unlike you I know my worth. And unlike you I know I am worth fighting for. No one is going to fix you. You need to learn that you are the key to your own happiness. You hold the power in your hand. You are just too scared and blinded by your own ego and self pity to see the potential you have. But I am no longer waiting. Yes, I will cheer you on from the sidelines when you accomplish another goal but I am retiring my job as head coach of your life and I am no longer going to shield you from your own destruction. You are an adult and can navigate your own life. I just hope you realize it soon so there will be no more waiting once we are both ready. Because I know once I am where I need to be, I don't want to have to wait anymore.
