Wake up
Try to wake up, the beauty is all around
the struggle is naught, ease profound
the signs are clear, the need is deep
a slip of skin, the sighs they weep
again and again, the pain is dear
oh how I tried not to, but her eyes pull near
I've wondered oft what it may bring
another barren try or a fruitful spring?
Many are astounded by the quick of wit
but to hold your tongue instead of using it
The wounds it can open, but how it feels so right
a dream to fulfill or dash in the night
a shattered oath to please a king I shudder as his blood is inscribed around the ring so soon vows are forsaken, it leaves my heart aching but with a smile wink and nod, a chance for taking an opportunity to be, forever creating
