Wake me up
Knowing that I could see your face
Or I could hear your laugh
Being with you
Wakes me up
Your fingers intertwined with mine
Your face blushing, grinning, cute
Your eyes alive and watching me
Wakes me up
Even with you here
And no matter how hard I try
I still fall asleep; with you,
I cannot wake up
Your gentle breathing in my ears
Your arms holding me
Your legs wrapped around mine
Wakes me up
You brush my hair with your hand
And keep me safe from harm
We were together and then
I woke up
