Walk Away

As I'm on the ground  my bloody hands prickle by the gravel road.

My tears blur my vision and the blood from my hands stain my face as I grasp my head to stop the pain.

I try to get up and then all of a sudden, I feel a drop of water coming from above.

It starts to moderately rain.

I'm walking home and the rain washes down everything from my face. My tears are no longer there but I like this rain on my face and on my body.

It may not be special but the feeling I get is not describeable. This rain has a significance.

The blood is gone, my tears are washed away, and I get the sudden ability to walk away.

The powerful push the rain gives me is not ordinary.

It's like the rain is telling me that everything is going to be okay.

I finally reach home without knowing the time. I walk into my room and open my drawer.

I take out the pictures that I want to erase from my life. I go back to when I was on the ground. I look at my phone.

I delete the text messages, I block the numbers, and I get the matches.

As every flame captures each picture into it's fire, I get a relief but a bit of emotional pain.

Since time is an essence of life, I begin to smile because I realize, with time, everything's going to be alright.
