The walk home

Time passes so quickly as we talk
wishing that time would slow if only for a moment
because seconds away from you lead me into endless torment
when am with you my courage is always greater
because my courage only as big as its container
and when your near my heart it grows nearly ten times its size
and doubt begans to fall as my hope begins to rise
like the sun, you bring warmth to my heart and exile the cold
you make me less timid and as i become couragous and bold
sad times bring tears never shed in vain
because as my tears dropped the plants of our love flourished by that very same rain
an all this goes through my mind as i bring you to your door
because i know once your out of sight
i will feel like dropping my knees to the floor
because the sun will be gone and then begins night
