Walk With Me

Walk into the darkness and find light. Search within your thoughts to discover your wrongs and make them right. While I appear to fill my throat with the same words of poets before my time; as I search for the secret code to control the sands of time I hide my lessons behind ink for myself to find. Patterns perfect these rhythms that who hold the key to my salvation. Nations hang over cliffs while leaders fail to serve and souls are ripped. Still, I have the audacity to ask that you: Walk into failure and find hope. Search within your soul to find the meaning of your existence because only that will help you cope. Exit the Realm of Contentment. If life cannot be explained in words simpler than a “series of steps”, how far have you walked? Dogs bark as homeless men and women dumpster dive for freedom. Children no longer try new activities because they’re too afraid to seem dumb. Actions offer Kingdoms filled with treasures above the clouds and when my time expires I’ll have traveled to Kingdom Come. Life is a series of stops and so I ask that you follow me on my journey into the darkness to find light. As I share my thoughts with you, I beg for you to do the same and together, any wrongs, we’ll make right. Life is a series of steps! Walk with me into the seas of failure to find hope that our existence is dependent upon. Because homeless men and women have found freedom in many forms and shapes. Children innovate and grow and eventually find their fate. Walk with me into the unknown world we inhabit with positive thoughts as we search for light. It is incumbent upon every soul to stand for something. Walk with me into the unwritten pages of history. Free yourself from worry, pain, and misery, while you walk. Climb obstacles and overcome hardships. When our time expires and they search our hearts for battle scars they’ll know we fought, but will remain forever distant from our struggle. Join hearts and connect lives. Walk with me.

This poem is visually appealing. I can see the actions and tones happening right in front of me, which down right beautiful. Your poem speaks the truth about the world, 'the good' and 'the bad', and I can't wait to read more!

"Search within your soul to find the meaning of your existence because only that will help you cope. Exit the Realm of Contentment. If life cannot be explained in words simpler than a “series of steps”, how far have you walked? " ^^^ I really loved that line, I was just like wow...speachless.
